About watchvia
watchvia is a free tracker for TV shows and films. You follow what you watch, and it tells you when the next episode airs or when a film is out.
What it does
- Follow TV shows and films, and mark episodes watched so you know where you are.
- Get a push notification or an email on the day something airs, at a time you set in your own timezone.
- Put upcoming episodes into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook using a personal iCal feed. There is an RSS feed as well.
- See where a title is streaming in your region.
- Keep a collection on your Plex, Emby or Jellyfin server in step with a public list.
Free and premium
A free account tracks up to 5 shows and gets airing-day reminders. Premium removes the limit and adds calendar and RSS feeds, watched-episode tracking, and media-server collection sync, with up to 3 servers and 5 syncs.

Media servers and lists
watchvia can create a collection on your own media server and keep it in step with a public list. Titles are matched by IMDb and TMDb id against your library, so only things you already own are added. watchvia never stores or streams any media.

Data sources
watchvia does not create the information it shows. Episode lists, air dates, artwork, ratings and streaming availability come from these sources, credited here as their terms require.
-
TMDB
is the main source: titles, episodes, artwork and where-to-watch data.
This website uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.
- TVmaze supplies further series and episode records, under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence.
- Trakt and OMDb fill gaps in the metadata.
- JustWatch provides streaming availability, which reaches watchvia through TMDB.
Corrections
Because the data comes from upstream, a wrong air date or a missing episode is usually wrong at the source. Correcting it at TMDB or TVmaze fixes it here within a day or so, and fixes it for everyone else using the same data.
